Small bug in activity package v2.1

After installing the activity package, go to your 'msts/trains/consists' directory. There you have to delete two .con files. These are:

- JT NS Regiorunner_4 bakken.con
- JT NS Regiorunner 4 bakken.con

Doing this will remove the annoying 'can't find JT ns regiorunner.wag' file error.

Update for Den Haag-Schiphol route & activity pack

Finally, an update for the DenHaag-Schiphol route and the activity pack. You can download the update at the download page. You can just remove the old version and install the new version.

Changes since 2.0

- Signals are correctly used in this route
- Added 'stop signs' at the stations so you know where to stop at a platform.
- Removed all references to 'BST'
- Reduced download size

Changes with the activity package

- Traffic jams with all activities at Den Haag Central and Leiden Central have been fixed.
- Added an extra activity
- Usage of the 'Benelux' train.

!! Please note that old activities won't work with 2.1 of the route!!

To fix this you have to open every .act file inside the denhaag/activities directory and change the following line:

RouteID ( "Den Haag2" )

This line should be:

RouteID ( "Den Haag" )

Still alive

Just wanted to mention that I am still alive. I've updated the links in the 'links' section and fixed a few 'page not found' errors on my site.

If you smell, what the rock is cooking.

No more popups

Yup, dot.tk did something very good, they finally gave me an option to remove the popups and banners. Now that's cool! It's btw still impressive that this site still has a lot of visitors, I mean, the last update did was 2 years ago... oh well.

Monday 24 oktober 2005

Going for the 200.000 visitors

Still going strong!

Too bad dot.tk is slowly applying more and more banners and pop-ups. I guess I'll have to go for a payware account someday.

Hi everyone, I just want to say that I'm still alive. I've fixed some broken links once again.

Thursday 30 December 2004

Sunday 22 November

Den Haag-Schiphol route WAS down.

The download link for the Den Haag-schiphol route has been fixed. Thanks to activitysimulatorworld (www.activitysimulatorworld.net) for hosting the files.

Thursday 19 November

Site down

Due to problems with the server I had to move all the content from this site to another server. It may happen that some links may not work. Everything will be fixed Saturday

Updated activity package

The old NS PlanV/T has been replaced by the superscale version of the NS PlanV/T. This means that the old NS PlanV/T is no longer available so playing the acitivities is not possible anymore.

In order to make it working once again I've updated the activity package. The activities are still thesame but the old PlanV/T has been replaced by the new PlanV/T.

I've got rid of packaging the activities with MSTS activity packager. Many people had problems with using TSunpack.

In order to download the updated activity package you can click here or go to the download page.

Download locations for required trains

In order to download the required trains you have (as far as I know) one option.
This option is http://www.msts.nl . You need to register in order to use the download page. You can register for a freeware account (download speed will be limited to 8kb/sec) or a paywayre account (unlimited download speed). When you are registered and you have logged in you have to go to the 'updownload section'. From there you can download the required trains. For more information, check the picture here.

New host

The Hoogdam site has moved. The new link is http://hoogdam.makendes.biz . You can offcours always use the redirect which is http://www.hoogdam.tk . Anyway, this new host is much faster and has more bandwith. Thanks to Nick for providing the host.

Site ups and downs

This site attracts 100 visitors a day. That is not very high, but still high enough to make the site unreachable. The reason behind this, is that the site is hosted by a free wanadoo account which has it's limitations (but hey it's free!). I'm currently looking for a solution.
Meanwhile, when you want to download something, please use the mirrors. They may be a bit slower, but this saves some bandwith so that the site doesn't go down.

Friday 4 Juni

Hoogdam back to personal homepage

The Hoogdam site has come back to my personal homepage which is http://home.wanadoo.nl/wjnijhof/ . Everything is up and running once again!

New version of the Hoogdam Line

Version 4.1 of this route has been released. All the activities have been updated so you can use the latest versions of the trains which are required. This version is not compatible with version 4.0 and previous so you have to delete the old version before installing the new one.

For more information please check the included readme file.

You can download the route at the download page

MSTS.nl down, sms update

The site http://www.msts.nl is down so the route can't be downloaded. It will probably be solved within a couple of days.

I've also a sms update which will update the sound sources around Leiden, Hoofddorp and Schiphol. For some weird unknown reason the sound distance of some sound sources got reduced to 50 meters. This should be 500. Anyway, you can download the sms update here.

Saturday 24 January 2004

Availability

The Den Haag-Schiphol route can now also be downloaded at http://www.msts.nl . This way you don't have to register for anything. The activity pack can be downloaded at the download page.

Wednesday 21 January 2004

Den Haag-Schiphol out now!

The Den Haag-Schiphol route is out now! You can download the route at www.benelux-sim.nl. Please note that you have to register there (free) in order to download the route. For more information check the download page or the Den Haag-Schiphol page.

The route itself consists of 1 basic activity with the Acela train. This way you can just have a look at the route without having to download thirth party trains. If you want activities then you can download the activity package (also located at that site)

And for now, have fun!

New site design

The Hoogdam site is currently being redesigned. While the redesign is not 100% done yet, all the links should work fine.

I almost forget to say, but I will still mention it:
Thanks to Ries't Hart from www.msts.nl for providing space for the Hoogdam site.

Anyway, the Den Haag-Schiphol route is done and is currently being beta tested. More information coming soon.

Monday 29 December 2003

Getting close, new screenshots

Scenery between Schiphol and Leiden is finally done. More info coming soon.

Still alive, site up and down

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say that I'm still alive working at the route. The only thing I need to do from now is building Hoofddorp en testing the route.
I think I will have the route done in December. This however is a thing I can't guarantee :)

Secondly: The site is currently up and down the whole time. This is simply because I've exceeded my maximum bandwith for this month. It's something I can't do a thing about it. Anyway, I think the problems will be over next month.

Third: I've updated the consists.zip file so now you won't get the missing koploper.con file. Please note that you MAY need to download the latest version of the NS Ic Carriages which can be found at www.msts.nl.

Leiden-DenHaag line extension

I'm currently extending the route DH-Leiden towards Schiphol. I do NOT have a scheduled release date.
Besides the extension, the update will also include the following things
-the crashing point between milepost 6 and 9 has been fixed
-replaced all the Dutch signals to a more 'logical' place on the route
-reworked speed limits
-fixed problems with the activities.
